We are planning the E2M Heritage Festival for Saturday, 29th August. It will be preceded by 5-weeks of creative workshops during the Summer holidays (Saturday, 25th July – Friday, 28th August) and we are seeking artists to deliver creative sessions with 11-18 year olds. The festival is a celebration of Lancaster & Morecambe’s rich history of creative things, such as: lino printing, chocolate/sweet making, furniture making and more. Young people will have the chance to learn about the history of the local area by engaging in creative practices they wouldn’t get to do in school. Apply by 13 Feb.

NWIFF is a celebration of British short films from all over the UK, with a curated programme of screenings taking place in June 2026 in Preston, Lancashire. Two submission categories: Short Film (Fiction) or Short Film (Documentary). Short fiction films can be of any genre (Drama, Comedy, Horror etc.). Animations are eligible to be submitted in this category. The maximum runtime for both categories is 15 mins (including credits). Application deadline: 30 April 2026.

Crowdfund Lancashire supports culture and sport projects in the community with the aim of improving the health, wellbeing, and cultural experience of Lancashire residents. The Lancashire Culture & Sport Fund can contribute up to 40% of a project's crowdfunding target. With pledges starting at £2, there is an opportunity for everyone across the county to get involved by supporting projects in their local area. Project Creators have until 26 February 2026 to create a project page on Spacehive, submit your pitch and submit your project for verification. Outcomes will be communicated early April.
