British Textile Biennial, University of Lancashire & Gawthorpe Textiles - Re: Fashion Challenge 2026

Are you a young person aged 13 to 18 years interested in fashion & sustainability? Sign up for the Re: Fashion Challenge 2026 (runs 3-7 Aug, 10am-3pm). Sign up for a FREE creative week-long workshop and competition for young people. Work with fashion design mentors to create repurposed and up-cycled outfits, style your looks in a professional photo shoot and maybe win a prize for the best design. No previous textiles or sewing experience necessary, basic sewing and pattern cutting skills will be taught. Spaces limited, email events@gawthorpetextiles.org.uk.

Creative Blackpool - City of Culture: Project Grants

Blackpool is preparing its UK City of Culture bid and shaping a 10‑year cultural vision for our town. We’re inviting organisations, creatives, community groups and local businesses to contribute ideas and projects that help us understand: What culture means in Blackpool; How people want to engage with it; How we grow our cultural ecosystem; What the City of Culture title could mean for our communities; How we tell Blackpool’s story with ambition and authenticity. To support this work, there's a £35,000 funding post, offering grants of £500-£8K. EOI Deadline: 7 June 2026. Proposals w/c 15 June.

Venture Arts - Programme Producer

We are seeking a motivated and organised person to join our vibrant team to support with the planning, coordination, delivery and administration of an exciting year-long programme to test creative ways to support neurodivergent (ND) young adults to move closer to work by removing barriers, increasing confidence and promoting inclusive employment practices. £30K full time equivalent per year. Lightpool - Digilab 2026 Free Workshop Week

If you’re an early‑career or developing artist with a spark for storytelling, light, or experimental visuals, apply to join a free week‑long projection‑mapping lab led by Imitating The Dog, the creatives behind some of the UK’s most innovative site‑specific digital theatre. Digilab is where ideas get messy, skills get sharper, and artists get braver. Expect hands‑on experimentation, storyboarding, animation, projection‑mapping techniques, and creative collaboration. The 5 day workshop event is in November. Free, but spaces limited. Submit your application by 12pm, Monday 6 July.

National Festival of Making - Place-Based Education Curriculum Specialist

Blackburn with Darwen’s Place Partnership of local cultural organisations are looking for a curriculum specialist to develop a series of scalable activities supporting place-based learning in the local area, inspired by the rich culture of making – past, present and future. We are looking for a Curriculum Specialist with a culture-led approach to help shape a pilot with 3 schools and local partners across Key Stage 2. The Grand Départ GB 2027 is offering art students aged 16+ in further and higher education the chance to design an official poster for the Tour de France 2027. Curious Minds NW - Leading the Arts in Your School

Leading the Arts in Your School is a professional development programme for teachers who want to embed creativity, culture, and the arts across their school. We give early to mid-career educators the skills, knowledge and confidence to be an outstanding arts leader in any school setting. Time Commitment: 3 full, in-person, training days. 5 online training sessions. A reciprocated visit to another school. You’ll finish this course ready to hit the ground running, with a firm action plan, backed up by a Theory of Change. Apply for the Sept '26-Mar '27 Cohort anytime before 24 July 2026.

Film Hub North - Film Exhibition Fund: Pitch Pot Fund

Our Pitch Pot fund provides organisations with quick-fire micro-grants for one-off events and short screening programmes. The Film Exhibition Fund: Pitch Pot is a flexible fund offering support of up to £3,000 for activity taking place between April 2026 and March 2027. Suitable for organisations looking to start a local screening programme, put on a special event, or enhance their existing programme with extra audience development work. This is a rolling fund so proposals can be made at any time up until 12th February 2027.
