QEST + Heritage Crafts - QEST Heritage Crafts Sustainability Award 2024

Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST) and Heritage Crafts will this year award two £1,000 prizes as part of its Environmental Sustainability Award, open to any craftsperson or micro-business, working with traditional craft skills or materials, who has improved their environmental sustainability within the last 12 months. Fibreart International 2024 (Fi2025) - International Open Call - Fiber Art Work Competition

Fiberart International 2025 (Fi2025) seeks to exhibit the best of contemporary art and invites submissions that reflect a wide range of works related to the fiber medium. The 25th edition of the Fiberart International will be organized and presented by Contemporary Craft in partnership with Brew House Arts. This call is open to exceptionally talented artists at any stage of their career, who are located within the United States or abroad. Winning entry receives $5,000 cash award. The Hopper Prize - Open Call - Artist Grants 2024

The Hopper Prize is now accepting entries for their Spring 2024 artist grants. They are offering $3,500 and $1,000 grants to artists and photographers around the world. There will be 6 grants totaling $11,000 USD. 2 artists will each receive $3,500 and 4 artists will each receive $1,000. The Hopper Prize supports artists working in all media, from diverse backgrounds, in wide-ranging geographic locations. Deadline: 14th May 2024.

British Ceramics Biennial - Learning & Participation Manager

The British Ceramics Biennial (BCB) seeks to appoint a Learning & Participation Manager to lead the development and delivery of innovative learning activity through schools, HE/FE organisations and informal educational establishments and partnerships to drive BCB’s vision and mission. This is an excellent opportunity for an insightful, dynamic and attentive individual, seeking to use their skills and experience to deliver BCB’s values of being bold, accountable, welcoming, significant, grounded, inclusive, connected and collaborative. Showtown Blackpool - Exhibition and Concept Design Brief

Showtown are looking for an individual or company to support the design, fabrication and delivery of a temporary exhibition featuring works by photographer, Andy Hollingworth. The exhibition will be the start of Showtown’s rolling temporary exhibition offer. ‘I photograph comedians!’ by Andy Hollingworth, will feature incredible photographs of some of Britain’s most iconic comedians. The works will mainly be wall-based photographic prints, but there is also the potential to include some of Andy’s personal collection. The space to work with is 140sqm.

We’re looking for a Festival Development Coordinator to support the work of Blackpool Film Festival. This role is an entry-level position for a Fylde Coast-based aspiring film exhibition professional. You’ll carry out a variety of programme, audience development and film exhibition activities from May 2024, supporting Blackpool Film Festival as it transitions from the Winter Gardens Film Festival. 2 days per week | 25 weeks | £14.00 per hour (Salary equivalent £26,936) | based in Blackpool (some home working) Closing date: 12pm Friday 3 May 2024.

Lancashire County Council - Lancashire Choir of the Year 2024

To get involved in the competition complete the initial Lancashire Choir of the Year 2024 entry form. Once we've received your form we will contact you with more details on how to submit your video recording of your choir. Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully before entering. Entry is free and open to any community choir based within the postcode boundaries of Lancashire County Council, Blackburn with Darwen Council and Blackpool Council. Entries open to community and school choirs whose members are all aged 12 and over. All video entries to be received by 12pm, Tues 16th July 2024.
