What is Ideation? Ideation is the creative process of generating, developing, and communicating new ideas, be they visual, concrete, or abstract. Ideation comprises all stages of a thought cycle, from innovation, to development, to actualization. Ideation can help even the germ of an idea for a new product or service develop and it’s a process you can use again and again in your own business.

Think Tank Session Get an introduction to the methods and goals of Ideation. This session offers the chance to engage with the design thinking process, new idea generation techniques and much more through an engaging, accessible and transferable process.

Our Facilitator For this event we are pleased to welcome our long-time Design Sprint colleague Dr Mark Lochrie. What Mark doesn’t know about design thinking and ideation isn’t worth knowing. Mark is a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science and Course Leader for MSc User Experience Design whose teaching and research interest lie in Human Computer Interaction with a focus on Interaction Design, User Experience, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
