LA1Shorts Film Festival - 10 Year Anniversary

LA1 Shorts is the longest-running short film festival in Lancaster, screening Lancashire-focused and national short films since 2016 at The Dukes Theatre. We are one of the only film festival events in the country to work with new and young filmmakers, supporting them in enhancing their work to make it festival-ready for screening. 

Our screenings spread out over the year, working with Lancaster University Health Innovation Centre, Health and Wellbeing Short Film Festival, with Lancashire County Council producing LA1 Lives, a refugee film festival, and we create short films for arts organisations in Lancashire through Lancaster Film Initiative.
