Back Back

Jwllrs is hosting a FREE 3-month artists’ support programme in Morecambe with group workshops considering how the environmental & economic crisis affects what we make.

Jwllrs Night School ≈ low-cost practice

After three months with a murmuration of inspiring local artists that took part in ritual encounters, Jewellers are very excited to launch our second night school, low-cost practice.

Sessions will take place two Thursday evenings a month at Jwllrs Morecambe over a three month period. Places are limited and the application deadline is by 26th January 2024.

How is the economic and environmental crisis affecting the things we make?

Group workshops and discussions consider the implications of financial and ecological costs, and the politics of radically low-cost practices within a waning neoliberal economy.

Who is it for?

Artists / creatives / makers looking to deepen their practices through supportive discussion and activities.

No formal education is required, but evidence of an emerging or established practice is desirable.
