Girls Can has joined forces with Loose Articles to present ‘Kick Like a Girl’, a weekend packed with inspirational workshops, Q&A’s and live music for young women aged 14-25 yrs.
Girls Can has joined forces with Loose Articles, a four piece, independent, female punk band from Manchester and artist Emma Colbert of Deco Publique for a weekend of inspirational FREE workshops, Q&A’s and live music for young women aged between 14 – 25.
Friday 10th Feb 2023
4.30pm – 7pm – Girls Can ‘The Art of Protest’ workshop with Emma Colbert of Deco Publique
This creative and fun workshop will be delivered in a supportive environment, at More Music, and will offer a great opportunity to express what is important to you while discussing and exploring ideas and beliefs.
Sat 11th Feb 2023
10am – 5pm – Girls Can Punk Rock Bootcamp – a masterclass in punk rock, this is an opportunity for young women to develop the confidence and DIY spirit to needed to pick up an instrument, form a band, write songs, play gigs and explore pathways into the industry.
