Burnley Canal Festival 2022

Launched in 2012, the Canal Festival has developed each year, steered by volunteers and supported by partners.  We’ve had to take time out for the last three years, but we are BACK, and we hope you will join us.

In 2022, we are delighted to bring you this dynamic celebration of Burnley’s peerless canal heritage with one day FREE Family Friendly Festival from our new home at the beautifully restored Finsley Gate Wharf.

This year’s Festival has a small but beautifully formed Festival Programme bringing together canal traditions with contemporary performance, music, arts workshops and food for a day of fun and relaxation. We’ll share more information over the coming weeks.
