Blackburn College's annual Student Art Show, an inspiring exhibition celebrating the creativity, innovation, and hard work of Higher Education and Further Education students.
On Wednesday 17 June 2026, from 6-8pm, Blackburn College will be hosting a celebration of student journeys, ideas, and achievements.
This special evening offers visitors the opportunity to experience an exciting and diverse showcase of student work across a range of disciplines. The exhibition highlights the breadth of talent within our creative courses, with work that explores contemporary themes, personal expression, and technical skill.
On display will be a wide variety of outcomes from:
- Fashion and Textiles – showcasing imaginative garments, fabric experimentation, and creative design processes
- Photography – capturing compelling visual stories through both digital and traditional techniques
- Graphic Design – bold and innovative visual communication, branding, and digital media work
- Art and Design – a broad collection of fine art pieces exploring drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media
- FAD (Foundation Art) – exploratory and experimental work demonstrating the development of creative practice
- Games Art – character design, concept art, and digital environments brought to life through cutting-edge techniques
