Black History Month 2024 - Inspirational Women's Posters

Black History Month is a month celebrating the achievements of Black people, both past and present. At Brierfield Library, this year we're focusing on inspirational Black women and we need your help.

Come along to our event and design a poster about one of these women using the information from our Little People, Big Dreams books.

Get to know these extraordinary figures from Black history – they were brave, they were bold, they changed the world! The most creative posters will be put on display.

This event is free, no booking is required, and all resources will be provided.
