Join us for another amazing 3 nights of stunning light art installations, a community parade, music, drumming, dancing and street food/drink vendors on Morecambe Promenade.
Baylight is Morecambe's fun, free, annual light art festival, taking place over 3 nights in the February half term week. Baylight '23 attracted around 21000 visitors into the town for an event that received universal praise and positivity. We are back in 2024 to do it all again, only, bigger, better and with more opportunities to get involved and participate. Expect works by local, national and international light artists, giant puppets, street performers and loads more.
We have partnered with Morecambe BID to keep many local shops open late to cater, and we will be having specially selected food/drink vendors and competitions.
Baylight is funded by Lancashire County Council, Morecambe BID and Morecambe Town Council with support from Lancaster City Council.
