What is Digital? - Lancashire Forum Creative Think Tank

“What is Digital?” that’s the question we’ll be exploring for our first Think Tank of 2020. To help answer that we are delighted to welcome Tom Stables, Chair of Digital Lancashire, as our guest speaker.

Affordable technology has driven change across a range of industries, with many traditional businesses introducing digital solutions to traditional processes but when we use the word “digital”, are we all talking about the same thing?
Tom will explore how 'digital' fits into the daily life and work of those operating in both digital and non-digital sectors and how it has empowered businesses to get the job done or achieve specific goals, rather than being just the distraction of shiny new tech!

Tom Stables MA BSc (Hons)

Tom is the Chair of Digital Lancashire, a membership organisation that is the voice of digital business in the County, lobbying on its behalf. As Creative Director of 3manfactory, Tom leads on digital content creation, and is responsible for aspects of training and education, working with organisations around the UK.
