We are extremely proud of our artists and all of our collaborative achievements since launching in the middle of a national lockdown in 2022.
The next 12 months will see us present eight exhibitions, providing a national and commercial platform for our artists. These exhibitions will then be toured to partner galleries to extend viewing opportunities to regional audiences.

About Masimba Hwati
An interdisciplinary artist, Masimba Hwati works at the intersections of sculpture, performance and sound. Known for unconventional mixed media and sound sculptures, he examines postcolonial themes by re-appropriating archives and objects and presenting them in new contexts. His work has juxtaposed dances such as The Detroit Jitt and Zimbabwe Jiti drawing parallels between social and cultural constructs. Currently undertaking a PHD exploring the places where sculpture ,sound and performance meet via sonic territorial marking, onomatopoeic and phonetic registers particularly in Shona culture. His work is often communicated by performance and recorded in film.
Masimba has recently been awarded the Manchester Museum Patrons award with his work acquired into the museum collections, and into private collections in the UK and America.
