This year's Lancaster Litfest's Autumn Weekend 2025 runs from 17th-21st October with a special post festival event on 18th November in partnership with Lancaster Arts.

Join us for a series of spectacular events between 18th and 21st October with:
- Novelist Sarah Hall celebrating her latest book HELM
- Children's author Lucy Strange exploring her retelling of FRANKENSTEIN
- A poetry double bill with yvonnereddickwriter and Liam Bates
- Mollie Ray and Helen Bate exploring the power of graphic novels
- Lancashire Folk Tales with Jacqueline Harris and Marjan Wouda
- A Maternal Exorcism in a one-woman-show from Zoe Lambert
- Carol Ann Lee's new interpretation of the Lancashire Witches
- The intriguing process of co-writing speculative fiction with MK Hardy and Oliver K Langmead
- Malik Al Nasir recounts his journey of searching for his slave roots
- Xiaolu Guo who will appear at the Litfest International Fiction Online Book Club and who will also be delivering the Lancaster International Fiction Lecture on the theme of "Fiction as an act of Sabotage" in partnership with Lancaster University.
- For our very special post-festival event on 18th November, we'll welcome Poet Laureate Simon Armitage back to Lancaster. He'll be in conversation with Kim Moore about poetry and land.
