These free holiday arts & craft sessions are drop-in for children (toddler age to 12 years). All children must be supervised by an adult as sessions unsupervised by Museum staff.
The theme for these sessions vary from week to week, throughout the summer holidays. We have a selection of crafts to choose from. (Wed – Sat 12 – 4 p.m)
Week 1 -WED 21 – SAT 24 JULY – CIVILISATIONS
Week 2 – WED 28 – SAT 31 JULY – OLYMPICS
Week 3 – WED 4 – SAT 7 AUG – JAPANESE CRAFTS
Week 4 – WED 11 – SAT 14 AUG – INSECTS
Week 5 – WED 18 – SAT 21 AUG – UNDER THE SEA/ BESIDE THE SEASIDE
Week 6 – WED 25 – SAT 28 AUG – TAKE YOUR PICK
The crafts will take about 20-30 minutes and the children can take home whatever craft they make.
*Covid 19 update: We will continue to keep our tables at least 2m apart and will be for your group only. We ask that you clean the table before and after use and return the felt tips to a team member when you have finished. There will be no shared materials and cleaning stations will be provided.
