An Accrington-based high school, The Hollins, received the Innovation and Leadership in Education Award in recognition for their work at the recent Northern Cultural Education Awards, hosted by Curious Minds.
The Hollins' 'Cohesion through Creativity' Initiative has won the Innovation and Leadership in Education Award at The Northern Cultural Education Awards 2024 hosted by Curious Minds.
This year the Awards received over 175 applications from across Northern England. The organisers and participants of the initiative were absolutely delighted to have be crowned winners at the Edge Arena in Wigan.
Cohesion through Creativity was established in 2009 to provide 'all' young people at The Hollins access to high a quality art provision; to allow them to experience different cultures, thoughts, ideas and possibilities, as well as to further develop their sense of adventure and curiosity.
