Spot On Lancs is celebrating 30 years!
04 December 2025 by Michelle
November marked the start of 30 years of Spot On bringing touring shows to Lancashire and they are celebrating by sharing 30 Daily Treats Posts.
Over the 30 days of December, Spot On are sharing some of their favourite moments from the past three decades — stories, interviews, and even songs — celebrating the incredible people and performances that have shaped Spot On.
Read more about the amazing work they do via their 30 Daily Treats posts.
Spot On works with communities to bring professional performing arts to village halls, libraries, pubs and open spaces across Lancashire. See what's on here.
The network consists of volunteer community promoters (450 at last count) who host high quality professional arts events in their local venues. These promoters are enthusiastic people who love the arts and who want to bring live arts performances to their community. They share the same passion of wanting to give everyone the chance of a good night out on their doorstep and, like an arts centre, an audience can choose to see dance, music, theatre, storytelling and children’s shows. Spot On promote more than 50 shows a year in villages and libraries across Lancashire, from Arkholme to Aughton and from the coast to the moors.
Spot On's Spring 2026 season will launch soon and if you need a dose of Spot On joy before Christmas there are still some free events in Blackburn and Darwen as part of their project work in the town centres.
