This innovative, fully funded 3-year degree course is for aspiring leaders who can respond to the needs of their communities and then work within them to make a positive impact. Inclusive and supportive, it offers personal development, practical skills and a deep understanding of the third sector.

Building Better Futures: Aspiring Leaders Programme - Recruiting NOW!

The Aspiring Leaders Programme is an incredible opportunity for young adults who work in charities, social enterprises and voluntary organisations throughout Cumbria and North Lancashire. It is a fully-funded degree and personal development programme that runs over three years, beginning in January 2021, that seeks to increase the leadership ability of individuals for the benefit of the organisations they work in and communities they serve. It provides a huge amount of personal growth, loads of learning around running social enterprises/charities, and networking. It’s a really rewarding and fun programme to be part of.

Oppportunity for individuals to join the 4th programme, starting in early January 2021. This is open to anyone who:

  • Is aged between 19-32
  • Works/volunteers in the third sector in Cumbria or North Lancs (i.e. in a charity, social enterprise, voluntary organisation or community-focussed role)
  • Is passionate about making a positive difference to the communities where they live/work
  • Has 4 GCSE passes, including English

ALP is a bit different from a normal full-time degree. It has been designed to be really useful in your day-to-day life and is arranged so that you can study around full-time work and other commitments.
