Join This is Nelson on our Audio and Image Collection days to contribute your stories, songs, sounds, photographs, films or memorabilia about the night time history of Nelson?
As part of a new heritage project exploring the night time history of Nelson, the This is Nelson team are working with artists Rob St John and Tammy Perman to create a sound and image archive and exhibition of people's experience of the town past, present and future.
Do you have any stories, songs, sounds, photographs, films or memorobilia to share?
Your contributions will form part of a new archive of the town, to be exhibited in Autumn 2026.
We are holding a series of Audio & Image Collection Days at Nelson Library (Market Square, Nelson) on the following dates:
- Tue 3rd Feb: 1-3pm
- Wed 4th Feb: 5-7pm
- Tue 24th Feb: 1-3pm
- Wed 4th March: 5-7pm
- Tue 17th March: 1-3pm
- Wed 25th March: 5-7pm
- Tue 28th April: 1-3pm
- Wed 13th May: 5-7pm
- Tue 19th May: 1pm - 3pm
