In Conversation with the Collection brings together the work of five contemporary local artists who together form the collective Fylde Women Artists.
The exhibition invites the viewer to connect with the historic art collection through a contemporary lens and encourages a dialogue between past and present. In Conversation with the Collection is an opportunity to explore themes and ideas within the historic art collection in a new and imaginative way.
Each artist from the Fylde Women Artists collective has made new artworks in response to pieces they have selected from the Lytham St Annes Art collection.
The exhibition takes place in the first floor Fylde Gallery at Lytham Hall. The gallery is free to visit and is open Thursdays to Saturdays 11am to 4pm, with donations welcome which are reinvested back into the art collection.
