Fugitive Forms is a solo exhibition by artist Paula Chambers held at the The Birley Studios in Preston.
The Birley are excited to host Paula Chambers as part of their recent Open Call exhibitions, supported by their Arts Council funding.
This solo exhibition by Paula Chambers features sculptural works made from found, transient objects like flea market finds, exploring themes of domesticity, gender, displacement and rebellion. The title reflects the fleeting nature of these materials, transformed from junk into art with a feminist perspective, often incorporating elements from border zones and stray animals.
Private view on Friday 16th January 2026, 6-8pm
The exhibition will then be open every Thurs, Fri and Sat, from Saturday 17th January - 14th February, 11am - 4pm
