Exhibition: Lily Rose - Home is Where the Heart Is
Thursday 31st July 2025 to Saturday 16th August 2025
Prism Contemporary, Lord Street West, Blackburn BB1

Home can be many places or none at all. Lily Rose's work reflects on the feeling that even when you’re home, it doesn’t always feel like it.

Home can be many places or none at all. This work reflects on the feeling that even when you’re home, it doesn’t always feel like it - through pigeons, people, and the spaces in between.
Lily Rose
In the silent dance of oil, Lily explores the desolate landscapes of the soul. Each brushstroke captures whispers of forgotten moments, lingering shadows of loss, and the profound ache of solitude. Lily’s paintings are haunted by the echos of what once was, where colours weep and forms dissolve into the void. Her work seeks to touch the raw, unspoken grief that resides within us all, a melancholic testament to the beauty found in loneliness and the inevitable sorrow of existence.
