Join us at Clitheroe Castle Museum every day in July for family fun and make something amazing.

Archaeology Crafts - Medieval Tiles and Roman Ships at Clitheroe Castle

Design and decorate your very own Medieval-style terracotta tile (£2.50) or wooden Roman ship (£4.00) Simply purchase from the main desk.

Our craft area has lots of free activity sheets and a cosy reading corner to enjoy.

Runs 1st to 31st July 2026, 11am to 4pm, during Museum open times.

Museum admission does not apply to take part.

Your young adventurers also can join in our July archaeology themed competition hunt in the museum for the chance to win a goody bag of great souvenirs from our shop.
