The British Council’s Connections Through Culture (CTC) Grants support artistic collaboration between the UK and select countries in the Asia-Pacific and Europe. The grants support collaborative projects between artists, creative practitioners and arts organisations, fostering cross-cultural exchange and lasting relationships. For 2025 we’re excited to expand the programme to include new countries, providing more opportunities for a broader range of international partners. FutureEverything is looking for a Greater Manchester-based artist or artist collective to co-create a site-specific digital artwork with communities in Stockport! This will be the second artistic commission under the Stockport Creative Campus initiative, supported by CDF and GMCA Spirit Funding. We are inviting artists to respond to two key questions. The opportunity includes the delivery of participatory workshops delivered with community groups in Stockport during the development and realisation of the artwork. Total budget: £30,000. Lancashire County Council is on the lookout for our county’s best landscape artists. We want to see paintings, sketches or collages depicting a Lancashire vista in either spring, summer, autumn or winter. Our panel of judges will pick their favourites from each season and create a shortlist. The shortlisted artworks will then be open to an online public vote. Closing Date: Wednesday 4th June 2025.

Creative Producer Lab is back for 2024 for its 6th year, to help develop a new wave of emerging producers in the North and Midlands. Running from mid-September through October, culminating at Aesthetica in November, the Lab takes 8 early-career filmmakers from the North and 8 from the Midlands through a 6-week online training programme. The ideal Creative Producer Lab candidate will have good communication skills, a commitment to storytelling and the ability to work collaboratively. Applications close Friday 16th August 2024.
