The Future Workplace Post COVID-19: The Rise of Corporate Social Innovation and its Impact on the Digital Economy

Join us at this interactive and insightful session delivered by Tim Heard (MD at Circle of Intrapreneurs & VP, Intrapreneurship at Barclays), who will be discussing how the current crisis has forced many organisations to pivot, adapt and in some instances completely reinvent their business models, in order to not only survive but thrive during these unprecedented times.

Tim will explore how the current crisis has created a new dawn of digital intrapreneurs and entrepreneurs as many businesses have been forced to galvanise their digital transformation efforts, he will highlight how these unprecedented times have also stimulated the rise of corporate social innovation and how businesses have been using their ‘corporate power’ to positively impact on society and why this new approach will help us to build a better world together.

You’ll learn:

  • What is social innovation?
  • What does corporate social innovation look like?
  • Anecdotal case studies of social innovation from within the digital sector
  • Why this approach means things will get better!

This hour long zoom session will include a presentation delivered by Tim Heard, followed by an interactive Q&A session.

Tim Heard – Speaker Biography

Tim Heard is the MD at Circle of Intrapreneurs & VP, Intrapreneurship at Barclays

Recognised as one of the top 1000 global leaders on sustainability. Tim is passionate about helping established companies develop and nurture ‘in-house’ entrepreneurs so that they can innovate more like a start-up and respond to disruption, and impact society, more effectively.

Tim is an experienced intrapreneur, and social intrapreneur, in his own right, who now finds himself as a globally recognised speaker, lecturer, author, and theorist on the topic of intrapreneurship; using his own experiences to help others and now leads Intrapreneurship at Barclays Ventures.

Because of this passion for social intrapreneurship, Tim co-founded the Circle of Intrapreneurs; now the world’s largest network of intrapreneurs – which grew from a LinkedIn group to a global movement.
