Girls Can is a free opportunity for young women and non-binary aged 12-19 year to form bands, develop as artists, and build music industry skills hosted by More Music in Morecambe.
Girls Can is an opportunity to form bands, develop as artists, network, build skills in sound, lighting and studio engineering as well as developing confidence and music industry knowledge.
Supporting those who are not typically represented in the music industry, Girls Can is a free event open to young women and non-binary people aged 12-19.
Dates: Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October 2026
Time: 10am-3pm

The focus of Girls Can this term will be to prepare to perform on the More Music Youth Stage at Lancaster Music Festival on Saturday 10 October between 1pm and 4pm, this event will take place at the Gregson Centre.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
– Please feel free to bring your own instruments, although we do have guitars, keyboards, bass guitars and drumkits available to use if you don’t bring an instrument.
– Participants need to bring a packed lunch for each day.
