Sizzle is the Creative Industries network for Lancashire. It serves up invaluable opportunities to meet, chat and share with other creative businesses. In essence, it’s your chance to be refreshed, rejuvenated and re-inspired. Or just an excuse to escape the office and network with real life people!

Ever get confused about the range of support on offer?
This Knowledge is Power event will be a chance to meet with specialists who can answer your your unanswered business questions.
If you have a specific question or just fancy a chat to find out the basics then now is your chance to begin gathering the knowledge you need to plan for success.
For this Sizzle event, Moore & Smalley Chartered Accountants and business advisors and Jobling & Knape Solicitors will be on hand to give you the chance to ask your questions on topics such as Research and Development tax credits, business planning, intellectual property and raising finance.
Representatives from Business Link, InfoLab21 at Lancaster University, Northwest Vision & Media and Lancashire County Council's Creative Lancashire team will also be on hand to answer questions on innovation vouchers, student placements, marketing and much more.
This Sizzle event will take the form of a marketplace with tables of advisers from different organisations available to talk to business owners and managers throughout the afternoon.

12 – 12.30pm Registration, buffet lunch and networking
12.30pm – Introduction to the event
Ruth Raban, Director of Creative Lancashire
12.35 – Michael Gibson MD of Fat Media - Overview of benefits he has reaped from the advisers available around the room and pitfalls of failing to plan from a business perspective.
12.45pm – Advice marketplace session
All attendees will get a chance to move around the tables and meet the relevant advisors for their business needs.
2.30pm – Networking – advisors available for follow up questions
3pm – Close
