SAScon has announced it's final two keynote speakers

Now in its sixth year, this two day not for profit event organised by the digital community for the digital community, features some of Europe’s leading search and social speakers and attracts an audience of over 300 digital marketing professionals.

The UK’s largest search, analytics and social media conference, SAScon, has announced its final two influential keynote speakers renowned for their expert understanding of social media and digital marketing.

AO.com’s head of brand and social media, Yossi Erdman and worldwide renowned digital marketer Martin Macdonald, have been confirmed to speak on the second day of the two day conference and will be sharing their expert insights and expertise.

Yossi Erdman joined Appliances Online, an online retailer, four years ago and was tasked with managing its Facebook page with 2,000 fans. Through the use of engaging posts and effective Facebook advertising he managed to bring this total to above 1.6 million.

At SAScon this year Yossi will be sharing the social media strategy that helped to make AO.com a global Facebook phenomenon. He will also be outlining some best practices for brands using social media and effective ways to measure activity.

Takeaway point from Yossi’s talk will include how social media can dramatically increase a brands’ visibility and its customer engagement and the importance of adopting a customer-centric approach.

Martin Macdonald is an internationally recognised speaker and author specialising in SEO, and online marketing. He has worked with huge global brands such as Expedia, Virgin and PepsiCo to name just a few.

Martin has been referenced and cited by reputed publications both in the UK and in the US such as the BBC, The Guardian, The Chicago Tribune, TechCrunch, Forbes.com and The LA Times.

At this year’s event Martin will use his specialist knowledge of SEO, PPC and International Search Strategy to make his predictions for upcoming trends affecting the digital marketing world in the next few years.

Martin and Yossi will be joined by international SEO consultant and entrepreneur Aleyda Solis, and founder and chief technology officer at Wordstream Larry Kim as keynote speakers at this year’s event.

All four keynote speakers will also be taking part in a panel discussion to tackle the current issues affecting the digital marketing industry.
