Thinking of growing your business overseas?

Last year the North West region increased its exports by 24% to an all time high of £24 billion. On average firms new to international trade experience a 34% increase in productivity during the year they start exporting.

This FREE event is designed to enable new and recent exporters to learn more about the range of UKTI services available and how they can help Northwest businesses develop and expand their Export business. Attendees will benefit from practical export knowledge and substantial assistance on how to trade overseas.

Guest Speaker, Kerstin Rath, Senior Trade Adviser Germany, will talk about the opportunities for UK businesses from the Energy, Environment, Agricultural, Automotive, Engineering and Creative sectors with aspirations to trade in Germany.

What will the event offer?

• The event will showcase successful case studies of regional businesses to demonstrate how effective use of UKTI services and support really does enable international business success.
• Present a tried method of 'How to Export' from the basics through to gaining that first order.
• Demonstrate the importance of linking to partner support providers but also emphasise the need for being prepared and doing research.
