A creative and immersive environment, which ‘busts the myths’ of the technology, analysing the practical capabilities of innovation.

Leading Additive Manufacturing technical experts will help you explore the real-world applications of the technology, within the context of your organisation.

A chance to discover how to introduce AM into your business, potentially improving productivity and increasing revenue.

There will also be a live demonstration from The Katjes Magic Candy Factory, developers of the world's first 3D food printer. You will get the chance to create custom 3D printed candy creations, and take some home as part of your goody bag!

9:45am - 10:30am: Keynote presentation by Paul Croft, Director, Ultimaker GB.

10:30am - 10:45am: Presentation by Melissa Snover, Head Magician, Katjes Magic Candy Factory.

10:45am - 11:00am: Presentation by Jenny Manning, Engineering Team Leader - Additive Manufacturing, BAE Systems.

11:00am - 11:15am: Break.

11:15am - 11:25am: Presentation by Hadley Brooks, Senior Lecturer- School of Engineering, UCLan.

11:30am – 12:15pm: Q&A panel discussion.

12:15pm – 13:00pm: Lunch.

13:00pm – 15:00pm: 30 minute workshops:

  1. Business Benefits and Return On Investment.

  2. Materials and Processes.

  3. Parts and Tooling.

  4. Ideas Workshop.

15:00pm – 15:15pm: Break.

15:30pm - Wrap up. Networking opportunities and continuation of workshops.
