Creative Industries Council Survey

Creative Industries Council have launched a survey to help policy makers better understand the finance issues faced by creative industry businesses.

Creative Lancashire on behalf of the LEP Network have agreed to support the Creative Industries Council by sharing and promoting a survey to help policy makers better understand the finance issues faced by creative industry businesses. The results of the survey will directly inform proposals to Government for a creative industries ‘sector deal’ as part of the Industrial Strategy.

This is a unique opportunity to enrich the evidence base around the investment challenges and opportunities for creative businesses across the UK. To make the case as powerfully as possible we need a strong response from the sector - so the Council has asked us to use our networks and connections to engage the Creative Industry businesses we work with.

To make sure the survey is as relevant as possible, the research agency have asked us to emphasise that the survey is seeking only to reach businesses working in the following DCMS recognised creative sectors:

  • Advertising and Marketing
  • Architecture
  • Crafts
  • Design and designer fashion
  • Film, TV, video, radio  and photography
  • IT, software, computer services and computer games
  • Publishing
  • Museums, galleries and libraries
  • Music, performing and visual arts

All information that is provided by businesses will be treated by BDRC Continental in the strictest confidence.
