The Queen's Award for Enterprise - a unique event for Lancashire businesses to receive expert advice

CEO of Panaz Ltd in Burnley has been presented with two past Queen's Awards, marking the company's success in both Export Achievement and Enterprise.

UK Trade & Investment
UKTI have years of experience guiding companies through the application process. Following the event, businesses that embark on the application process will be able to access further advice sessions led by UKTI.

Lancashire County Council's Creative Lancashire team are organising this event which is supported by Moore & Smalley http://www.mooreandsmalley.co.uk/ and is the only event of its kind taking place in the country.

It will take place on Thursday, September 23 at Preston North End Football Club, Preston PR1 6RU from 6.30 - 8.30pm.
Lancashire businesses are being urged to act swiftly in time to submit their application for the entry deadline of October 29, 2010.

The Queen's Award for Enterprise - Celebrate your success

Many people are unaware that Queen's Awards winners include very small and large businesses from all sectors. Past winning firms cover a vast range of business sectors including architecture and design, building and construction, transport, electronics and technology, manufacturing and engineering, finance, tourism and leisure, medical and pharmaceuticals, food and drink, oil and gas, media and marketing, metals, plastics and packaging, safety and surveillance, printing, recycling and more.

Winners of The Queen's Awards enjoy widespread respect from their peers, a company visit by a Royal representative during the year to present a crystal bowl and a special reception at Buckingham Palace in July. They are also entitled to use The Queen's Award Emblem in advertising, marketing and on packaging for a period of five years as a symbol of their quality and success.
